About

A little about me…and my photographer’s assistant, Seamus:

Art has always been part of my existence, whether creating junk sculptures as a kid in St. Louis or working as an art therapist with medically fragile children, as I do now. I earned my B.F.A. from the University of Notre Dame, and my M.A. in Art Therapy from  George Washington University….awhile ago! This business is a way to continue spending lots of time at home in Arlington, Virginia, with my husband and three kids. While the kids are at school, Seamus goes along for the ride while I take photos of the places we’ve grown to love in this area. Back home,I sort through snaps of the iconic places and the more hidden gems and start painting. I love using oils, as they can be as fluid as melted butter, and have such rich color.
